Had some work done on my VW transporter recently and extremely pleased with what’s been done. The work has been done to a very high standard and it’s made a huge difference to the van.
Throughout the process, Sam couldn’t have been more helpful in advising and altering the specification as we were figuring out what we wanted.

Hide Away Campervans / Dicks Automotive do a great job looking after our work van. They take care of all our regular servicing and are always quick to sort any urgent repairs. The team are friendly, professional, and really know their stuff. Wouldn’t take our van anywhere else. Highly recommend.

What a brilliant company Hide away campers are we had a full conversion done on our nissan nv300 and from the very start Sam was exceptional he went through everything with us answered any questions we had gave us advise and options, everything was done to a very high standard we are over the moon highly recommended

Sam and his team show amazing attention to detail, are meticulous about recording their work and clearly proud of the high standards of their work. I wish I had started with a new conversion done by them ! They installed solar, diesel heater and RIB bed as well as sorting out both the gas and electric installation in my T6.1 which had been installed very poorly. Highly recommended for really top notch service.

Excellent company to deal with, Sam and his team did a great job converting my Transporter T5 to a kombi. Paula was great at helping me choose colours and materials and Sam with suggesting other accessories. Sam also sourced me 3 rear seats which were in excellent condition. Sam and the team did a fantastic job renovating my VW Transporter. They listened to my requirements, offered advice on the “little things” which I hadn’t even considered and the end result is better than I even expected.
Just had our first weekend away in the Van and it’s great, can’t wait for our next adventure and that’s all thanks to Hide Away Campervans!

Great service as always from Hideaway!
I took campervan into Hideaway as i was having trouble with starting the van on cold morning which they diagnosed as being an issue with the battery which they replaced and solved the issue.
I had my van converted by Hideaway just over 2 years ago now and still absolutely love it!

I found Hideaway online and with three quotes I collected for a Rib camper bed install they came back the most reasonable and professional. Within three weeks I had the van in for the job and they were courteous on my arrival, gave me an office area to work whilst I waited and they got to work. As with all campervans there is the unique nuances of fitting in with what’s there. A few problems were encountered but at every stage they explained to me their recommended solution and why and gave me the autonomy to make the decision. We got the bed in with just a mornings work and it was fantastic. They moved my control panels to accommodate the fit and helped sort out a new way to organise the layout. They even held onto my old Campervan bed whilst I sold it online and they allowed the buyer to come pick up. All in all a genuine and professional company who I will go back to again without hesitation for my future upgrades.

I had a solar panel fitted, Sam told me about the different ones and what they did, asked me how I will be using my van to see what the best one for me was. Sam and his team have a wealth of experience and knowledge. If I have any problems or would like other upgrades to my campervan, I will be coming here again. I would not hesitate to recommend Hide Away Campervans. They addressed all the problems I had with a pop top roof and it was done in a timely manner and at a fair price. And they are a great bunch with an amazing dog :)

Sam and his team are simply superb. Very friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and above all professional service at a price that I couldn’t better anywhere in the South of England. I’m not sure how they do it but all power to their elbows!

We are absolutely delighted with both the experience and results of getting our T6.1 converted to a camper van with Sam and the team at Hide Away. Sam was brilliant throughout offering completely honest opinions and advice from what type of VW Transporter we should look for, to every aspect of all the fixtures and fittings we included in the conversion. The quality of product and craftsmanship is excellent and we can’t wait to start the adventures in our completed van. I spent a lot of time researching campervan conversion companies along the south coast, having had a bongo converted years before I knew what quality I was looking for. When I discovered hide away campers I was immediately impressed with Sam and his attention to detail and brilliantly designed Matterhorn conversion. From start to finish the communication with Sam was excellent, he was very helpful in advising us without being pushy and helping to chose all the different options that we wanted and trust me there was quite a few 😁. The after service has been great too as we were new to campervanning there were quite a few questions and he will always answer your calls or texts. The quality of the workmanship from the guys was excellent and I would have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone thinking of having either a full conversion or just some add ons to their vehicle.
