There are several types of leather commonly used for automotive seats, each with its unique characteristics. Explore our comprehensive range of leather options, thoughtfully curated to accommodate every customer’s budget.
Nappa Leather
Nappa leather is a high-quality, full-grain leather known for its softness and smooth texture. It is made from the outermost layer of the hide, preserving the natural grain and imperfections. Often used in luxury vehicles, Nappa leather provides a luxurious and comfortable feel.
Top Grain Leather
Top-grain leather is also high quality but has been sanded or buffed to remove imperfections. It is more uniform in appearance compared to full-grain leather. Retains a soft and supple feel, making it a popular choice for automotive upholstery.
Corrected Grain Leather
Corrected-grain leather is treated to remove imperfections, and an artificial grain is embossed onto the surface. This type of leather is often more affordable and has a consistent appearance.
Perforated Leather
Leather perforation is a matrix of holes in regular intervals on leather surfaces. Sections of the seat can be perforated to allow better breathability through the pigmentation and to allow moisture to be released more effectively and reduce sweating.
