RIB manufacture some of the best beds systems in Europe. They come in range of sizes to accommodate everyone, they are the lightest and comfiest on the market.
Hide Away Campervans is a UK authorised installer for all the RIB range. All their beds M1 pull tested and TUV approved, we make sure they stay that way by fitting these as directed by the manufacturer using the appropriate anchorage. With every fit we include a certificate of installation.
RIB Altair 3P
The Rib Altair is the most widely fitted bed system fitted throughout Europe. It’s easy to use design, no interfering legs and plenty of available storage underneath makes it so popular.
- Available in width sizes 112cm & 120cm for the two seater. Sizes 130cm & 150cm for a three seater.
- Integrated Headrests included.
- Adjustable rear & front cushion for adaptive sleeping.
- 3 Point Seat Belt included in all seats supplied.
- ISOFIX included.
- Optional 220mm Lengthways Slider Frame to allow the seat to be fitted further back.
- OEM Fabrics Available, Black Vinyl & Leather and some GTI patterns.
How it works!
First thing is to get contact, tell us what seat you require and how you would like it upholstered. We will then provide a quote, to book in we require the deposit amount as outlined on the quote. The lead time for the RIB beds is usually 1-2 weeks depending on stock.
Before the bed can be fitted, the plywood floor must be in place with any finish applied. Usual thickness for the floor is 12mm.
Upon booking we will give you a date for fitting in our modern and secure workshop. Under normal circumstances we can turn your van around in half a day but we do recommend you allow one whole day.
Swivel Seats
Add a swivel base to your existing original vans seats to give you a full open feel with the addition of your new bed.
- These can be fitted to drivers single, passenger single or the double seat.
- Single seats easy to use single lever operation.
- The Kiravans double seat swivel has four locking wheels and swivels the entire seat & base.
- M1 Crash-tested & TUV approved product.
